Did you know that more than 11 million children in the United States live below the poverty line? Worldwide, that number jumps to 356 million children living in extreme poverty on less than a $2.15 a day.

September is Hunger Action Month. It may seem to you that those numbers are too big for you to imagine–or to help, but that is not the case! You can help!

I work with the staff at Children’s Hunger Fund in Los Angeles, California, and we are equipping hundreds of churches in the United States and more than 1,000 churches worldwide reach out into their neighborhoods with good food and the Good News of Jesus.

You can help during Hunger Action Month. Fill a Food Pak, become a Hope Partner, or come volunteer at one of our distribution centers in Los Angeles, Dallas, or San Antonio.
